Michael Feehan

President and General Manager

As President and General Manager of HA International, Mike Feehan brings over 26 years of experience with the company and has been a stable presence in times of change. Mike is an accomplished leader and directs all aspects of the business, including coordination with our parent company's executive management.

Mike started as Plant Manage for Refractory Coatings in Toledo, Ohio, he then moved to Oregon, Illinois and became Site Manager of Resin Coated Sand. To better understand the needs of our customers, Mike shifted responsibilities and became Marketing Manager, Foundry Resin. He then transferred again, gaining valuable experience, to Manager, Supply Chain PRG Division in Louisville, Kentucky. Finally, accepting the position of Vice President, Manufacturing & Supply Chain in Westmont, Illinois, Mike has been responsible for not only manufacturing and supply chain, but also engineering, six sigma, quality and procurement.

Prior to Borden, Mike spent 7 years at General Alum & Chemical in Toledo, Ohio, a producer of liquid aluminum sulfate for use in paper manufacturing, water treatment, and wastewater treatment. Mike progressed through several challenging roles including process engineering, tech service, engineering manager, plant manager and director of operations.

Mike received his MBA from Bowling Green State University, and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toledo.

Michael Richardson

Vice President Research & Development

As Vice President - Research & Development for HA International, Michael Richardson provides over 17 years of experience in the chemical industry. Michael is responsible for leading the R&D staff of HA International to balance short and long-range research efforst with urget, immediate customer needs.

Michael comes to HA International from Crane Composites where he served as Director of Research & Development. Prior to Crane, Michael worked as a R&D leader at Sherwin Williams for high performance reactive coatings. He has also spent a significant amount of time working globally in the semiconductor industry while at Cabot Microelectronics.

Michael is trained as an organic polymer chemist with experience in synthesis and characterization of a number of thermoset and thermoplastic polymeric materials. He earned a Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry and Engineering from the University of Southern Mississippi and a BS in Textile Chemistry from Auburn University.
